That happened this week when Taylor made our The Perfect Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Protein Bar into The Perfect Dark Chocolate Almond Butter Protein Bar - and oh. my. goodness. are they are good!
These bars are delicious, easy to make, and have almost the exact same macros as their highly desired counterpart.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 c. almond flour
-
2 scoops Propello Life Vegan Protein Dirty Chocolate
-
1/2 c. almond butter
-
1/4 tsp sea salt
-
1/2 c. maple syrup
-
1 tsp vanilla extract
-
1/4 c. dark chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS

Line an 8x8" glass pan with parchment paper

Mix almond flour, protein powder and salt in a large bowl

In a smaller bowl, mix together almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract
-
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients, and mix. The best way to mix all of this is with your hands - the best tools in the kitchen!

Pour in chocolate chips and mix until combined

Pour mixture into glass dish, and use your hands to FIRMLY press mixture down

Sprinkle on any additional toppings you want!

Place in freezer for 30 min.

Take out of freezer, cut into two rows of five, and enjoy!!!
