Cinnamon Maple Protein Granola

You guys.  Stop what you are doing and go make this right now!  It will make your day so much better!  

Just kidding (a little).  Seriously though, we don't know why we haven't made a granola on our own before.  It is so easy, super versatile, and DELICIOUS!!!  We'll be over here, snacking on this the rest of the day on greek yogurt, by itself and on top of vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Give this one a try and let us know what you think! 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1/3 c. ground flax seed
  • 1 1/2 scoops Propello Life Vanilla Bean Whey Protein
  • 2 t. cinnamon
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/3 c. coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/3 c. maple syrup
  • Mix-ins: white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips, dried fruit

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix together all dry ingredients
  • In a smaller bowl, stir together coconut oil and maple syrup
  • Pour liquid into large mixing bowl and stir until combined.
  • Pour mixture onto baking sheet and spread out with a spoon
  • Bake for 8 min., take out and stir, then bake for another 8 min.
  • Let cool, then add in mix-ins!
  • Enjoy!
